I went to see this the other day. Now I'm gonna come right out and say it. ABBA are fucking amazing! Not the coolest thing to say or anything but I fucking love ABBA, everyone does. Secretly deep down. They might deny it but they're lying. Everyone knows the words! Everyone loves it!! And the film was awesome!!! Pierce Brosnan is too hot. I mean he can't sing, at all. But he's so damn good looking, loveable and just.... CLASS that is really doesn't matter. He's brilliant! EVERYONES BRILLIANT! I'm still giddy and high from it. Such a fun film! I love it. I mean it has Julie Walters and Colin Firth as well. I mean, that's Mrs Weasley, Mr Darcy and James Bond all together. At one time.

However.
When the film was done I went to the toilet. And there was like a poo in the toilet. I'm not fussy or anything, it's not like there was shit all over the floor. But what I'm trying to get at is that there was just a poo in the toilet. No toilet paper, no pee, the water was clean. Just a big poo. That's kind of weird right?

Title says it all really. I've been bored of my tits since Oxegen. (Which in fairness was a huge big dollop of AMAZING) Don't know what I'm going to do till the 14th. Probably just sit around biting my nails of thinking about how I'm going to fail my exams, not get a place through clearing and then live out the rest of my life like a sort of very chic bum.
And that'd be a crying shame because I've given in my deposit on a lovely little house in Belfast.. It's got bay windows!
On the upside, even if I miserably fail (touchwood) I'll still be going to see the Mighty Boosh in September. It will be a weekend full of mad, mad, random Dublin craic!

I now officially have two computers!! Admittedly they are both fairly shit.
And one of them simply refuses to connect to our internet. But OMG TWO!!!!! I will now probably have to spend like three days on the phone to BT so I can try and fix it.

I'm really tired today. I had to get up early, because we were getting this second computer.

Someone just came to my door. I thought he seemed like a nice normal man at first. Then I noticed this idiot was wearing crocs. Now, to my mind anyone who wears crocs at the best of times is an idiot. But it's freezing today.  And not just freezing. It's bloody pissing it down. I felt like pulling the ornamental gun from the wall and knocking some sense into him with it.

Yes, rather.

You see, my Government and Politics teacher is a massive skive. She's hardly ever in. When she doesn't come in, she doesn't deign to inform the school she won't be present, and so us the class are left uninformed and with no work to do. Like today, for example. She missed a double period. After she'd be absent for nearly a week and had given us a big spiel about us having to buckle down and be in every day from now on because we basically have three and a half weeks in which to do two A level modules. Not even actually, what we are doing is a slimmed down version of the two modules combined together, she did this so we could get it done quicker. Which I personally think isn't going to happen.

On a lighter note, you know how there is this massive thing about getting our five a day. How can people not eat five pieces of fruit a day? I didn't know this was happening. I mean, Jesus, I had two apples and an orange into me there now, in like two minutes. The only time I don't get five a day is either because I've fallen asleep or there just isn't any fruit in the house because I've ate it all.

Because I was away in Dublin over the weekend there were a number of things I had set Sky to record. The first episode of the new series of Doctor Who, the last episode of the current series of Torchwood, Dirty Sexy Money and some other stuff I think. Benidorm maybe? I dunno.

The point is, anyway, that it didn't record them.
Said there was insufficient disk space.
Which was a lie.
There was loads!

I have since seen  Dr Who and Dirty Sexy Money. But Torchwood... Was meant to be on last night on BBC2. And it wasn't. I had it saved as a reminder on the Sky, turn the telly on when I got home from school on Tuesday to se what I had remindered and Torchwood was missing. Then I checked BBC2 and it was missing from there as well. And it appears not to be on any day the rest of the week either. I had bloody well better be on next week. I want to see Exit Wounds!!!!!

This is one of the many random things that sprouted from our mouths on the weekend me and some mates spent in Dublin.

As it turned out it was the Gaiety.

The weekend was bloody brilliant! I had the best time! We did all the standard Republican things, Croke Park, Kilmainham Gaol and the GPO.
That's Michelle hugging the General Post Office... Someone has a picture of us with our fingers in a bullet hole. Can't remember who though... It'll turn up.

There are various pictures yet to come involing various of the group hugging and/or posing with monuments/buildings/statues/comemorative plaques/etc.
Including Molly Malone, which was followed by a humourous conversation in which Michelle, above, realised that in primary five she not only played a fishmonger but a big prosie too.

The hostel we were staying in, which we were rather worried was going to be a complete shithole turned out to be rather lovely, if a little hot. But then the weather for the weekend was absolutely stunning, it was like it was summer. It's snowing right now.

The Last  Days of the Celtic Tiger, which is what we went down to see was bloody fantastic! It was amazing! A Dublin is really a beautiful city, even if the Northside is really dirty in comparison to the South. It's overrun with homeless people though. It's a total disgrace, yu'd think with the  Southside being so affluent something would be done to help the people. But no.

Forgot to say, watched The Colour of Magic on  Sky over Easter. It was obviously fantastic. Jeremy Irons is a wonderful Patrician... But...  Why did he have a lisp? And poncy little blue tinted glasses? And what looked like, not a dog, but a puppy?

Also, I'm torn between a reaction of WTF?!! That iz so gay! and OMFG!!1 That iz lyk so coole!! over that fact that, apprently, before he was turned into an ape the Librarian was Nobby Nobbs.

Quite apart from the fact that I can't seem to drag my own arse into gear, after I spent quite a while fixing our internet my sister chose that moment in time to wake up (3 o'clock in the afternoon) and hop onto the computer and stay there until just this moment. Meaning I couldn't find the information I need to do my politics essay, because as previously stated I completely blanked on having to do it and must have thought on Thursday that leaving all my politics text books and the majority of my notes in my locker would not only be a fantastic way of cutting down the weight of my bag for the walk home, but an overall great idea. I was wrong.

My mother and sister are now embroiled in a domestic about my sisters Education Maintanence Allowence which I had to at least try and break up. I managed to hold back from telling my mother that she can't even read her own bank statements and my sister that if she'd got her finger out of her arse and filled in her OWN form, then mummy's bank account details wouldn't be on the form and the money wouldn't be going into the wrong account. For my troubles I got told to go and fuck myself.

However, the silver lining to this cloud is that it reminded me that I have to dig out my electoral registration form and fill that out before someone fines me or some shit.

No school for Tara today.
I'm stuck in the house.

I sound rather annoyed at that, don't I?

Considering I have a number of essay plans that I TOTALLY forgot to do for Politics you'd think I'd at least pretend to sound happier about my entrapment. It might, however have something to do with the fact that I didn't get a wink of sleep last night. Actually none. I know sometimes I might complain about not getting any sleep when really I just kept waking up at odd times during the night. Last night, however, I was solidly awake until seven o'clock this morning and because I had to get up and put on my uniform (I'm growing rather fond of it, actually) there isn't a hope in hell that I'll get to sleep now.
I also have had no peace to sit and do my essay. I was trying to download something last night (Yes,all night, left it going all night and to absolutely no avail. My broadband is so dial-up) and my computer must have died in the night because it didn't work. I originally though my firewall was blocking it, but no, it would appear that my sister has deleted the firewall, like it's not important. The problem I ascertained was a considerable lack of memory. I then spent a solid three hours deleting thing from some folder calling itself  "Temp" - Wouldn't it be just lovely to press Ctrl+A and have your computer delete all the selected items! Alas! No! There were a number of folders that were positivly full of shit and had one or two files that wouldn't delete. Wouldn't be moved either, I don't know why, or what they are. They seem to be from eBay. But the good  Lord only knows why they won't delete. Anyway, all of my efforts made not a dent in my C drives memory. It's full. Totally full. My sister, the lucky cow, has a phone with more space on it that this crock of shit.
Anyway then mother grappled me into to talking the Sky people about our Phone and Broadband. Now, we get our telly off Sky, and I know they do Phone and Broadband but if they cut out with the regularity that our telly signal dies then I don't want a bit of them. I had to spend a good half our patiently explaining to this lovely Scottish man (he was only lovely because he was Scottish, you understand. He works in a call centre. If he wasn't Scottish he would be the Devil himself) that while his Sky Telly + Phone + Broadband package sounded just darling, and would indeed cut down on boring bits of paper, his plan was nearly threes times more expensive than having out Phone and  Broadband on BT (which is still shit) and our Telly on Sky seperately. So, thanks all the same my lovely Scotch Egg.

We need a new computer. This one is making me go grey.

I really like this song, but I made the mistake of making it my alarm tone on my phone and being awoken by it every morning (awoken several times of a morning it has to be said, the snooze button is my best friend) has rather taken the edge of.

It's been a kind of boring day. Tomorrow I will go on a driving lesson and write some essays for English Lit, little essays that will no doubt be crap because I don't really have any idea what my teacher wants me to do with the extracts she gave us.

I might take a nice long bath in a bit. Make up a face mask and that. Relax, and go to bed in a fruity kind of haze.

I'm really not very good at keeping this up am I?
I keep popping in and out whenever the mood takes me.
I should really be doing some school work right now, over this Easter break.
I don't really want to think it about it though, tomorrow I will do work. Make history notes and the like. Maybe take a break and watch Michael Collins (Stephen Rea! Liam Neeson! Aidan Quinn!( ♥) Alan Rickman! Brendan Gleeson!!! Ian Hart! And yer wan that was in Ballykissangel (♥♥♥). Oh and Johnathan Rhys Meyers was in there near the end, but.. He has dead eyes and weird lips) and spot the historical inacuracies. Despite a cracking script there are quite a number. As a young child I was very cut up about Ned's death, Mr. Jordan has a lot to answer for, in my opinion.

I will do some work.
I promise.
I won't fail.
I will get into Queens come Hell or high water.

M'kay, Echo Beach is shit. And I'm not talking about shit in the way that is actually fantastic. Like Mile High (Lehann from Mile High is in Echo Beach, she suits the long hair) because Mile High is all kinda of tacky fantastic. I only watch Echo Beach for two reasons, one being I'm addicted to the title music and the second being continuity purposes because Moving Wallpaper is seriously good. <3<3<3<3
