The name's Tara, sounds Irish.. It is and it means craggy hillside. My mammy wasn't that great with names. Bless.
I have developed... Over my 18 some years of existance a passion for Irish history/nationalism/folklore/myth, and also a strange connection to the word Lunasa, which means August in the native tongue. Which I can't speak to save my life. I did once learn "I am ejaculating" (taim ag teacht... I think :s) which I thought was quite clever of me.
I also have a taste for Harry Potter, His Dark Materials Robots in Disguise (the greatest robot double act to land on Earth and take on the guise of females since.. Well, since when that happened last I guess.) Lord of the Rings, and most recently, Terry Pratchett's fantastic Discworld.
Also in my eighteen some years of life I have developed a prominent dislike for all things to do with or pertaining to hippys/emo kids/Jamie Olvier (The idea was good love, but unless you plan on going to EVERY school in the country and cooking dinner, the kids just end up with no food/Perez Hilton (the man is a scurge upon the Earth) and Maggie Thatcher.
